but not too realistic

Art should convey a feeling of what it’s like to be there, but doesn’t need to strive for absolute reality. When I look at my work, I see the plains surrounding Burcy, France. Or the California coast, the American River, aspens in the Sierras or other places I’ve been or things that inspired me.
